On 24/04/2011, Easter Sunday, the day of resurrection, Sri Sathya Sai Baba left his body. However, just his presence, his form changed. His energy will forever remain in the temple location where he practised and will continue to practise. There, he was buried as a spiritual leader and teacher and not burnt as a Hindu.
